Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance
St. Thomas' Hospital- King's College London
May 16, 2017 to May 18, 2017
11th Congress of the Asian Society of Cardiovascular Imaging
June 1 - 3, 2017
CMR Level 1 Workshop 2017
June 9-10, 2017
This course is organized by National Heart Centre Singapore and will feature up interactive case readings over the 2 day program.
1. To understand the basic principles of MRI physics and sequences commonly used in cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR)
2. Be familiar with the indications and applications of CMR
3. Be able to recognize common artefacts associated with CMR
4. Develop an approach in interpreting and reporting CMR
Cardiac Magnetic Resonance in Everyday Clinical Practice
Goethe CVI, House 25B (ground floor) - University Hospital Frankfurt
June 21, 2017 to June 22, 2017
This is a 2-day introductory course on CMR for everyone:
· clinicians (cardiologists, radiologists, physicians)
· cardiac radiographers (MTRAs)
· CMR physicists and computational modellers.
The course objective is to outline the role of CMR in diagnosis and clinical management of myocardial ischaemia, cardiomyopathies and heart failure, congenital heart disease, as well as in guiding medical treatment, coronary intervention and the use of medical devices. The two days will consist of lectures interchanging with the interactive clinical cases and post-processing sessions to consolidate the theoretical knowledge and simulate its application in the daily clinical routine.
Radiographer's CMR Course
St Bartholomew's Hospital
June 23, 2017 to June 24, 2017
West Smithfield, London
This is a two day course and workshop for radiographers who do Cardiac MRI and wish to extend their knowledge. This course covers the practical aspect of performing a CMR with sessions covering relevant physics, cardiac anatomy, protocols and how to scan various common pathologies. We will cover ECGs, and image optimisation. We will have renowned experts in the field talk about new techniques.
Malaysia Cardiac MRI Course (Level 1 Accreditation)
September 18-20, 2017
Institut Jantung Negara (National Heart Institute), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
This 3-day Level 1 CMR course is designed for cardiologists, radiologists and technologists interested in learning and gaining more exposure in CMR. The expert faculty will cover essential topics of basic CMR physics, MRI safety, basic CMR scanning protocols for common cardiac conditions, cardiomyopathy, stress imaging, valvular heart disease and congenital heart disease. Participants will have exposure to live CMR scanning and hands-on training at the workstations. At the end of the course, participants will have an understanding of CMR indication, CMR images interpretation and CMR reporting (with 50 mentored CMR cases during the course). In order to give a better experience of live CMR scanning and hands-on training at the workstations, this course is limited to a small group of participants.
Athens-SCMR Level I Course
September 30 to October 2, 2017
The course is organised by the Greek College of Clinical Applications of CMR "CARDIOTOMI" and will be accredited by EBAC (accreditation process on the way).
If you are interested in having a meeting endorsed, please review the SCMR criteria and contact SCMR Headquarters to submit. Thank you.
