The overarching vision of the SCMR Registry is to provide a central, representative collective platform to demonstrate the diagnostic and prognostic value of CMR and how it impacts patient management. The first study from the registry, The Clinical Impact of Stress CMR Perfusion Imaging in the United States (SPINS): A Global CMR Registry Substudy will be presented at the European Society of Cardiology Congress on August 25th as part of a Late Breaking Science Session. Lead investigator, Dr. Raymond Y. Kwong from the Harvard Medical School will present the preliminary results of this trial that aimed to evaluate the prognostic value of stress CMR in patients presenting with chest pain syndromes, in a real-world multi-center setting in the USA. Results of the study are embargoed until the start of the scientific session in which they will be presented and will be shared with members following the meeting. Thank you to Dr. Kwong, the participating sites, and Bayer and Siemens Healthcare for supporting this momentous achievement
