Stress perfusion CMR is accepted as a method with high diagnostic accuracy. Quantitative stress perfusion CMR has potential to address questions that are difficult or cannot be addressed with qualitative interpretation. Quantitative analysis of CMR stress perfusion is starting to look competitive with quantitative PET perfusion. This article by Hsu et al from the NIH shows promising diagnostic accuracy for a new fully automatic, pixel-wise, quantitative stress perfusion by CMR: Diagnostic Performance of Fully Automated Pixel-Wise Quantitative Myocardial Perfusion Imaging by Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance.
