Description
Rajaie Cardiovascular Medical and Research Institute in Tehran, Iran, is a tertiary university Heart Hospital, which is one of the largest hospitals in the Middle East. The Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (CMR) unit is the highest volume CMR centre in Iran. The unit has three 1.5 T MR scanners dedicated to heart scans for adult and pediatric patients with various heart diseases, including cardiomyopathies, inflammatory conditions, heart transplants, thalassemia, ischemic heart disease and congenital heart diseases. The facility performs approximately 2500-2800 annual heart scans and is operated by eight faculty members, consisting of two cardiologists and six radiologists.
