Target audience:

This event is specifically designed for cardiologists, radiologists, and CMR technicians looking to build or enhance their CMR expertise in alignment with SCMR Level 1 guidelines.

Objectives:

  • Gain Level I competence verification in cardiovascular magnetic resonance in alignment with SCMR guidelines.
  • Learn the essentials of a CMR program, including patient preparation, scanning techniques and post-processing.
  • Participate in engaging case-based discussions, exploring ischemic heart disease, cardiomyopathies, valvular heart disease, and more.

Course Highlights:

Day 1: Foundations and Key Case Studies

  • Dive into CMR fundamentals, protocols, scanning techniques, contrast agents, devices and post-processing.
  • Explore over 20 case studies focused on ischemic heart disease, MINOCA, hypertensive and athlete’s heart.

Day 2: Advanced Cases and Special Topics

  • Analyze 20 additional cases, covering topics such as cardiomyopathies, valvular and aortic disease, cardiac masses, and pericardial disease.
  • Gain insights into congenital heart disease, including a 10-case review.
