ABSTRACTS
Submission categories and presentation type: Original scientific research. Case reports will not be accepted. Accepted abstracts will be presented as posters or in a rapid-fire abstract session. Please adhere to the following:
Presentation Type: Original scientific research.
- All abstracts must be submitted (and if accepted, will be presented) in English.
- Limit of 250 words for the abstract text, not including table.
- Arial 11 font.
- Must include a title, authorship (include the institution of the presenting author), introduction/background, methods, results, and conclusion.
Structure: The abstract should be organized as follows:
- Title
- Authorship (include the institution of the presenting author)
- Introduction/ Background
- Methods
- Results
- Conclusion
Abstract categories: scientific and case study:
- For scientific abstracts the content must include: the purpose, methods, results, and conclusion(s) sections.
- For case studies, the content must include: a succinct clinical history, pertinent CMR findings and other complementary diagnostic results, final diagnosis, key educational points learned from the case.
Figures and tables: One figure or one table may be included. Please ensure that your images are of a high quality (at least 300 dpi).
References: References should not be included.
Submission Deadline: 2nd May, 2025, midnight Pacific Standard Time (Los Angeles). Please note that the submission deadline will not be extended.
Previous Presentation: Abstracts and cases will not be considered for presentation if they were either published as an article or previously presented at a national or international meeting prior to the date of the meeting.
Grading: Abstracts and cases are graded by the scientific committee via standardized evaluation criteria.
Results: Abstract acceptance/ non-acceptance status will be made available by mid to late May 2025. The decision email will be sent to the presenting author only.
Disclosure of Financial Relationships: Abstract submitters will be asked to submit their disclosures. Failure to provide disclosure information in a timely manner will result in the disqualification of the individual from presenting.
