Join SCMR and the Indian Association of Cardiac Imaging (IACI) for a level I CMR course.

SCMR has partnered with IACI to hold a fully virtual level I CMR course to better accommodate interested attendees in India, the Middle-East and Asia. For this course the faculty will include cardiologists and radiologists nationally as well as internationally.

  • Receive verification of level I competence in cardiovascular magnetic resonance in accordance with SCMR guidelines
  • Learn the building blocks of a CMR program including scanning techniques and post-processing
  • Multiple case-based discussion sessions including highlights in Ischemic heart disease, cardiomyopathy and other indications

  • Participating in this level I course will ensure eligibility for a 4-5 day level II CMR training in 2025

Course highlights

Day 1:

  • CMR fundamentals including protocols, scanning techniques and post processing
  • Case-based discussions with over 20 case reviews in ischemic heart disease and cardiomyopathy

Day 2:

  • Case-based discussions on other CMR indications such as cardiac sarcoidosis, vascular disease genetic cardiomyopathies from the Indian perspective and more including 20 cases
  • Overview on pediatric and adult CHD with a 10 case review
  • Discussion with the experts on running a successful CMR program
