At the Instituto Nacional de Pediatría sits the Department of Pediatric Cardiac MRI. It is part of the Cardiology Division and specializes in performing advanced pediatric cardiac MRI. INP is one of Mexico City’s leading 3rd care children’s hospitals. Our dedicated team performs approximately 250 scans each year, providing crucial insights into the heart health of our young patients. Protocols for congenital and acquired heart diseases are performed, including stress CMR and contrast-enhanced lymphangiography. Committed to excellence and continuous growth, our service utilizes a 1.5 T SIGNA Explorer (GE) MRI machine to deliver accurate and timely diagnoses, ensuring each child receives the highest level of care.
