Before you take down the Valentine’s Day decorations, let’s remember that February is also American Heart Month. Cardiovascular disease and stroke are the two top causes of death worldwide. Invite University of Chicago cardiologist Amit Patel, M.D. to discuss why heart failure rates are increasing in the United States, and why cardiovascular disease remains the leading cause of death, even though the mortality rate from cardiovascular disease is falling.
