THE SOCIETY FOR CARDIOVASCULAR MAGNETIC RESONANCE (SCMR) BYLAWS

The SCMR Bylaws are the Society’s principal governing document and provide the foundation for how the organization is structured, governed, and operated. They define SCMR’s purpose and membership structure and establish the roles, responsibilities, composition, and terms of its officers and Board of Trustees.

The Bylaws also set out the processes governing leadership elections, meetings, voting, decision-making, and amendments to the governing framework. Together with applicable laws and supporting policies and procedures, they promote transparent, accountable, and effective governance while ensuring that SCMR remains focused on advancing its mission and serving its members and the wider cardiovascular magnetic resonance community.
