SCMR is excited to announce an advanced CMR workshop lead by International Faculty.
These advanced workshops are designed to get practical experience with cases that can go toward reading independently. In addition, to developing ~100 cases, there will live scanning at the venue. The course will provide information on establishing CMR services with mentorship from an expert Faculty . The wide variety of cases is designed to cover most of the most common clinical scenarios that you will likely encounter in practice.

Virtual attendees will not be eligible to collect cases for SCMR Level-2 certification through this course.
- Due to time constraints and the virtual format, answering all questions live may be challenging. However, we will make every effort to address them within the allotted discussion time.
- Recorded sessions will be available for 6 months after the meeting for registered participants.
Course Objectives:
- Learn cardiac MR acquisition and sequences via didactic lectures and time spent at the scanner.
- Learn indications, post-processing, analysis and reporting of cases via didactic lectures and hands-on experience.
- Exposure to 100 cases which will include, cardiomyopathy, coronary artery disease, aortopathy, valvular heart disease, pericardial disease, cardiac masses and congenital heart disease with hands on mentoring by expert faculty.
- Mentorship by CMR experts in learning how to set up a CMR service, undertaking research and keeping up to date with CMR developments.
Audience:
- Providers , Trainees, Radiographers/ Technologists, MRI scientists working in either Radiology or Cardiology Departments.
- At the end of the course attendees will be eligible for Level 1 SCMR accreditation with cases that can be used for Level 2 SCMR accreditation. The wide variety of cases will promote a practical understanding of the role of CMR in the evaluation of Cardiovascular disease.
