The SCMR Education award recognizes members who have made exemplary contributions to the field of CMR and the Society in education and training. Candidates for this award will have a developed or led educational and training efforts in CMR, including in-person and online learning, developed new educational materials addressing current SCMR needs in the most effective manner, developed CMR or SCMR training guidelines or undertaken other major activities in the area of education and training relevant to the CMR community.
Candidates can be nominated for this award by other SCMR members or the Awards Committee. Nominees should be SCMR members in good standing. Each candidate must receive a minimum of three (3) nominations in order to be eligible for consideration. Awards are made once a year and given out at the Annual Scientific Sessions.
